|Following many years of saying goodbye to Ray at railway stations, Ray's wife Julia is now happy to be 'keeping it all in the family' by being directly involved in his productions. A professional freelance hairdresser, Julia made her debut as a Stage-Manager in November 2001, when she "drove" Ray's premiere performance of Two Victorian Tales at The Tivoli Theatre, Wimborne.|
Daughter to Julia and Ray, Laura attends Corfe Hills School at Broadstone, near Wimborne in Dorset. She loves writing short stories and plays the violin: having recently passed her grade 5 examination. She is also in her third year at Helen O'Grady's Drama Academy and studies Visual Art in her spare time, alongside her passion for computer games.
In December 2003, Laura made an appearance as a dancing reveller at Mr Farfrae's pavilion, in London Weekend Television's production of Thomas Hardy's "the Mayor of Casterbridge".
Above all though, whilst working with her dad, she relishes the power of being able to pull the plug on him at any undisclosed moment, but accepts the promise of a bowl of chips at the Coventry Arms in Corfe Mullen, Dorset, as a bribe not to do so.
