It is said that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and Rhoda Brook would have no idea of the powers she possesses, until her wealthy clandestine ex-lover returns home with his new, young bride.

Suspicion is aroused amongst the country-folk when the new bride is afflicted by a mysterious malignant ailment: an ailment which defies every treatment that conventional medicine has to offer.

Strange maladies require strange cures, indulgence in which will lock the three pivotal characters into an inevitable chain of events which must run their course, but just how will it all end?
